The tour begins with pick up from your hotel in Cusco between 07:30 and 07:50 a.m., followed by a drive to the Sacred Valley.
The first stop will be at the Taray Viewpoint, where you will enjoy a unique panoramic view. Then, you will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, located at the top of a mountain. After descending, you will explore the Pisac Handicraft Market, where local artisans exhibit their work.
At noon, you will travel to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch with the best of Cusco’s gastronomy.
After lunch, you will visit the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, known for its impressive stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun and the ancient fountain of the Princess’ Baths.
The tour concludes with the return to Cusco, arriving at the Plaza de San Francisco between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Itinerary
We’ll begin our adventure by picking you up at your hotel in Cusco between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m. From there, we’ll embark on a bus journey to the majestic Sacred Valley, a jewel of Inca heritage.
Our first stop will be the picturesque Taray Viewpoint, where we’ll enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. Next, we’ll head to Pisac, ascending to the impressive Pisac Archaeological Site, built atop a mountain. After descending, we’ll immerse ourselves in the local culture by visiting the Pisac Artisan Market, where artisans showcase their skills working with minerals.
At midday, following the Vilcanota River, we’ll travel to Urubamba. There, we’ll enjoy a nutritious buffet lunch that reflects the richness of Cusco’s gastronomy.
After lunch, we’ll explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, an ancient Inca retreat and the starting point for the journey to Machu Picchu.
We will admire its imposing structures, such as the stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun, and the ancient fountain of the Princess’ Baths.
The day will conclude with our return to Cusco, arriving at San Francisco Square around 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
